We cater for conferences, weddings and provide entertainment for family and friends who are looking to break away from the day to day trends of life. Dros is a really awesome place to eat on the waterfront, has a holiday vibe to it, really nice for relaxation. Secunda is situated in the western region of Mpumalanga and has its origins due to the coal mining industry and Sasol refinary established in the 1970’s. 40 years later it has grown into a vibrant town with Lake Umuzi accommodating business travelers and weekend tourists to the best services and amenities found in the region. This Inn is situated in the centre of the vibrant and active Lake Umuzi Waterfront, in Secunda. Every effort has been made to reduce noise levels from Waterfront patrons and to ensure perfected sleep, day or night, (for those having to work night duty). Some may find it strange to find no windows in the majority of the rooms, however the state-of-the-art air-conditioning system and fresh filtered air which is circulated continuously ensures perfect climate control. A special sound block system has been used to reduce noise levels even more. For those who enjoy the photographic art of renowned local photographer Encee van Huysteen, of which each room displays an original scene over South Africa, may visit his studio on the Waterfront. The uniqueness of Inn Green, however, lies beneath the surface. No effort was spared to make this the most energy and water efficient facility possible. All showers are fitted with water saving aerated showerheads and hot water is provided by recovering waste heat of the aircon system, solar and by default only, a gas backup. The building is insulated to levels way above the norm in South Africa with double glazing, special light reflective paint, Led lighting throughout and energy efficient appliances.
